School Readiness Program for Children Aged 3-6
Child development research has established that the rate of human learning and development is most rapid in the preschool years. Thus, preschool education is crucial as it lays a strong foundation for children to become lifelong learners.
Children with learning challenges or developmental delays need targeted strategies that work toward integrating them into mainstream schools. An early childhood intervention program can dramatically impact your child’s developmental trajectory and improve the outcomes for your child and your family.
Singapore Brain Development Centre (SBDC) is a child development specialist and one of the best early intervention centres in Singapore. Our Approach
Integrated Therapy and Education Plan
Our early intervention programme integrates therapy into the teaching curriculum to offer your child a holistic early childhood development that aims to help them achieve school-readiness.
Active Monitoring
Our students receive ongoing evaluations by our in-house senior speech therapist to track his/her speech, language and social communication skills. Our students also receive periodic assessments and reviews conducted by our occupational therapist, ensuring your child’s sensory development.
Collaboration with parents
We believe in working closely with you to ensure your child gets the best support system. We offer active feedback weekly and provide you with continuous updates on your child’s progress. Our early intervention program in Singapore is designed to assist children with developmental challenges to develop fundamental skills necessary for mainstream integration at primary school. At SBDC, a child development specialist and one of the best early intervention centres in Singapore, we believe your child deserves the best. We make it happen through our development program which covers social skills, sensory work, gross and fine motor development, speech and language development, pre-literacy skills, and activities of daily living.
The Holistic & Integrated Approach to building School Readiness and Foundational Skills is what makes our program unique. In a collaborative environment, our Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist and Early Childhood Educator work together to provide an ongoing evaluation of children’s progress and response to intervention. This is to ensure that each child’s needs are met.

After Joining SBDC EIP, my son is able to speak more and express what he likes and dislikes. His instruction taking skills have also improved. I am very happy that my son has shown confidence in walking by himself and being independent. I believe that the excursions have also helped my son to be more aware of his surroundings. After two weeks, my son is able to tap his own EZ- Link card and is more comfortable to take the public transportation. Ever since my daughter joined the Early Intervention Program, she has grown in so many ways. One of her improvements is the ability to be independent such as taking off her own diapers and changing her clothes. Another is the ability to recognise letters while reading and she showed more interest in reading.
I also really liked how there is a team of professionals such as the Occupational Therapist and Speech and Language Therapist who support with her sensory and language work. The Early Intervention Educators in SBDC EIP are also very experienced, caring, and most importantly, they showed genuine love towards my daughter. As a parent, I am able to see that they have put in their 100% effort in carrying out their duties. The facilities are also very clean and well-kept.
