Aparna graduated from City, University of London with a Masters in Human Communication in 1993 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing (Hons) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1990.
Aparna enjoys working with children with communication difficulties, conducting therapeutic work through play and practical activities with the active support of the parents. In addition to that, she has a special interest in the links between language and literacy and helping children perform better in school by improving their language capability.
Aparna has over 20 years of experience in training parents and teachers in the facilitation of speech and language development. Finding solutions to problems and witnessing the skill development in children motivates her to venture out in new ideas for therapies and methods.
Aparna is a member of Rehabilitation Council of India.
