Santiago is a licensed Clinical and Sports psychologist. With 15 years of experience in his field, he has been dedicated to neurofeedback and biofeedback for the past 12 years. Santiago is board certified in qEEG brain mapping, biofeedback, and neurofeedback, making him the only BCIA board-certified professional in both biofeedback and neurofeedback in Colombia.

As an international instructor and trainer, Santiago teaches neurofeedback, biofeedback, and neuroscience at the university level and is highly sought after for his workshops and training sessions across the United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, and the UK. His expertise also extends to sports and peak performance, where he consults on optimising athletic performance and mental resilience.

Santiago has a strong focus on trauma interventions, using Brainspotting to treat victims of armed conflict.. His research interests include trauma, psychophysiology, and EEG, and he has authored a chapter on trauma and the EEG in the 2018 book The Power of Brainspotting: An International Anthology. His work in these areas has established him as a leading expert in the field of neuroscience.
