Ellie graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science and also holds a Diploma in Child Psychology and Early Childhood. Her early interest in working with children grew into a lifelong calling to nurture and support others, ultimately guiding her toward a career in therapy.
Before joining Singapore Brain Development Centre, Ellie gained nearly four years of experience as a preschool teacher, where she inspired and supported young learners in their holistic development.
While pursuing her degree, Ellie also worked as an enrichment teacher for phonics and science at childcare and preschool centres, expanding her knowledge and teaching skills beyond the classroom. Her dedication to making a meaningful impact led her to serve as an assistant teacher at a special needs centre, providing crucial support to children with additional learning needs. In these roles, Ellie not only applied her academic knowledge but also gained invaluable experience beyond the early childhood sector, touching the lives of many children and further enriching her understanding of developmental needs.
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys staying active through exercise and rollerblading, as well as socializing with friends and family. Her passion for exploration and connection is reflected in her love for discovering new cafes and embracing a vibrant, well-rounded lifestyle.
