Marianne is a Certified Developmental Play Practitioner (CDPP) under the mentorship of Caroline Essame, a senior consultant OT. With a strong background in education and a passion for supporting children’s growth, she spent two years as a lead teacher at Melbourne International School, specializing in special education. In this role, she designed individualized lesson plans, collaborated with occupational and speech therapists to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities, and mentored co-teachers to enhance their instructional skills.
Prior to her work in special education, Marianne dedicated six years as a student care educator, where she crafted engaging lesson plans, and encouraged creativity through interactive games and exercises. Her diverse teaching experiences have shaped her commitment to helping children reach their potential.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Marianne loves exploring new destinations and immersing herself in different cultures. Among her favorite places are Amsterdam and Japan, where she finds inspiration in their rich heritage and unique experiences.
