Marianne is a Certified Developmental Play Practitioner (CDPP) under the mentorship of Caroline Essame, a senior consultant OT. With a strong background in education and a passion for supporting children’s growth, she spent two years as a lead teacher at Melbourne International School, specialising in special education. In this role, she designed individualized lesson plans, collaborated with occupational and speech therapists to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities, and mentored co-teachers to enhance their instructional skills.

Prior to her work in special education, Marianne dedicated six years as a student care educator, where she crafted engaging lesson plans, and encouraged creativity through interactive games and exercises. Her diverse teaching experiences have shaped her commitment to helping children reach their potential. Known for her bubbly and cheerful nature, Marianne brings a sense of fun and enthusiasm to her work with children. She believes that children learn best when they feel comfortable, engaged, and are able to have fun while developing new skills.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Marianne loves exploring new destinations and immersing herself in different cultures. Among her favorite places are Amsterdam and Japan, where she finds inspiration in their rich heritage and unique experiences.
