RACHEL TAN

THERAPIST

Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) majoring in Psychology from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

For over five years, Rachel has been a dedicated teacher at Holy Light Church, committing weekly to guiding and nurturing a group of 30 primary-aged children. She develops lesson plans and leads religious educational activities as part of a collaborative teaching team.

Rachel is also an active volunteer with Scripture Union Peninsular. In this role, she leads and organises activities for groups of up to 70 children aged 7 to 12 during camps. She works closely with fellow volunteers to facilitate experiential learning activities designed to teach, guide, and build strong bonds with the children.

Rachel’s extensive experience in both leadership and education reflects her passion for supporting children’s growth and development in meaningful and holistic ways.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys doing puzzles and creating crafts, which nurture her creativity and problem-solving skills.
