Sindy Sim graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons). She also spent two years as a Piano Teacher at Sono School of Music in Brisbane, where she taught and managed up to 60 students each week. Through this experience, Sindy developed a deep appreciation for the diverse ways children learn and express themselves, reinforcing her passion for tailoring support to each individual’s needs.
For two years, Sindy also served as a Crisis Support Volunteer with Lifeline in Brisbane, providing compassionate listening to individuals in distress, and as a Compassionate Companion at The Wesley Hospital, offering comfort to vulnerable in-patients. These experiences have further shaped her commitment to making a meaningful impact, highlighting the importance of empathy, patience, and connection in supporting those in need.
Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Sindy enjoys reading and watching documentaries.
