VERON LEE

THERAPIST

Veron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science and is a dedicated movement specialist with over six years of experience working with children and individuals across a range of ages and developmental needs. She focuses on developing motor skills, body awareness, coordination, and physical confidence through fun, structured, and age-appropriate activities.

Veron believes that movement plays an important role in a child’s overall development. Through purposeful activities, she supports children in developing balance, posture, coordination, strength, and spatial awareness, while helping them build confidence and enjoyment in physical activity.

In addition to gross motor development, Veron worked closely with a developmental optometrist to support visual-motor training. Her experience includes activities targeting visual skills such as eye tracking and eye teaming, helping children develop more efficient coordination between their visual and motor systems.

Through her previous experience at Melbourne International School, Veron worked alongside therapists and educators to integrate physical education goals with academic and behavioural objectives. She contributed to the development of IEPs and supported children with diverse developmental needs, including motor coordination and sensory processing difficulties. She also promoted inclusive practices within the learning environment, helping to create opportunities for children of different abilities to participate, engage, and learn alongside their peers.

Veron is passionate about creating positive movement experiences that help children develop new skills, gain confidence, and enjoy learning through their bodies.

In her free time, Veron enjoys staying active.
